Park FAQs

Q. How long is the park open each year?

A. 12 months, i.e. 365 days per year

Q. How much is the park ground fee?

A. 2017 / 2018 annual park fee will be £2600-00 plus VAT

Q. When is the park ground fee due for payment?

A. Annually on January 1

Q. Is the park ground fee inc in purchase price?

A. Yes, for the remainder of the year of purchase.

Q. How much are the local rates levied by the council?

A. The annual rates are £245 per plot, payable by the lodge owner annually on January 1st for that year.

Q. What other costs apply?

Insurance - according to reinstatement value,
Gas, electricity & water – Metered to each  home
TV – You do not need a TV licence

Meter readings taken quarterly and invoiced to you quarterly

Q. Is there adequate security when the park is closed?

A. The park is controlled by remote controlled electric gates, each lodge owner has their own access fob.

Q. What warranty is there on the holiday home?

A. 12 months warranty and a 10 year manufacturers guarantee.

Q. Do I need a permanent address for post?

A. Your post can be delivered to park office.

Q. Are dogs allowed in the  park?

A. Yes but under control and kept on a lead at all times whilst outside your lodge.

Q. How many years can I keep my lodge on the park?

A. 99 years subject to keeping up to the standards of the park

Q. If I lose my park entrance gate key, is there a charge?

A. Yes. There will be a £50 charge
